Description
Cedar Sauna Internal Cladding TGV made from Premium Western Red Cedar timber. Cladding kiln dried for better stability and performance. Cedar is able to withstand the high temperatures in a sauna without warping or splintering, making it ideal for this environment.
Unlike some other types of wood, alder has low resin content, meaning it won’t leak resin when exposed to heat. Cedar is a relatively soft wood, which makes it comfortable for sitting or leaning against in a sauna. It doesn’t get too hot to the touch, which is important for comfort and safety.
End-matched means that the ends of the boards are machined so they interlock with each other (or at least align neatly) rather than just butting together. That gives you the advantage of being able to join boards anywhere along their length (not only at a stud, batten or support) and thus reduce waste and installation time.
